OFFICE FINANCIAL POLICY

You, the client, are an integral part of our legal team. The more efficiently we work together, the better quality legal service we are able to produce with the least amount of confusion and expense.

To this end, we will strive to be ready for you at your appointed time and to notify you if we are running behind schedule. Similarly, we will depend on you to be ready for us at your appointed time. Our mutual readiness at the appointed hour will enable us to provide you legal assistance in a professional and unhurried manner.

If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so that we can give this time to another person. Otherwise this missed appointment becomes wasted time and wasted time is costly.

1.      All fees are due and payable when services are rendered.  There is a $250 non-refundable fee required for the initial 1-hour consultation (except for most cases not of a personal injury nature). This fee will be deducted from the total fee should we decide to accept your case. For serious personal injuries or seriously injured workers eligible for worker's compensation benefits, this fee is waived.

2.      Credit may be extended when requested under certain circumstances. If you need credit, please discuss your needs with our staff.

3.      There will be a $25.OO charge for all returned checks. If your check is returned payment is to be made either by cash, money order or cashier's check.

4.      It is the policy of this office, after the initial consultation is made, to make an estimate of the work to be performed. This will enable you to know what work is needed and what the approximate cost will be. We will tell you what court costs to expect in addition to our legal fees and will inform you of the required retainer for your matter.

Thank you for your cooperation. I am pleased to have you as a client and look forward to a long and mutually satisfying relationship.
